Catching up...

While I figure out how to upload these new Florida pics/video from our new little camera (since our computer isn't recognizing any of the data/programs), I'll catch up on pictures that I have yet to post pre-Florida trip.

Just as it was getting hot, our friends Amanda and her son Noah invited us over to swim in there pool. It was fun and we got a few shots of them.

Notice Laney's finger in the back of her mouth. I have a ZILLION pics of her doing this because she's teething. She just cut two of her four eye teeth and the other two are about to break forth any minute.

Oh, just look at her here. I LOVE this picture! I just just kiss those sweet, little lips! She's so kissable!

Here's what happens when you try to drink the pool water while having a splash fight with Noah. I think she learned her lesson.

Once we walked in the door, I began to think about dinner plans, while Laney started to play with her toys in the living room. I watched her pick up my keys and put them in the door on her own initiative. I couldn't believe it. We have never taught her or even played with the keys locking and unlocking the door. Toddlers pick up on everything and FAST! Look at her little arm muscles!

Another thing Laney has been doing is climbing on top of everything, including the kitchen table. I was in the kitchen with her, mind you and our kitchen is oh so tiny. I turned around for a split second and up she went into the chair. After I turned around and saw her in chair, I grabbed the camera that just happened to be right beside me in the kitchen and snapped a few shots. Crazy! This was right after we got home from her swim with Noah. These were taken about a month ago, so she was 17.5 months and climbing like a monkey!

I promise you Laney doesn't have a load in her diaper here in this last picture. LOL! We had just walked in the door from swimming, and right before we got in the car, I put a fresh diaper on her. These size four diapers just fit her weird. They are long and narrow...and give the appearance that she has a LOAD waiting on us. Don't be fooled. Ha! I believe she could still fit in the size three. We pretty much always stick to disposibles if we're out on the town for a few hours or more. But after our trip to Florida, we're happy to be back in cloth. Disposibles just didn't do the job we thought they would do...more on that to come. Oh and pics of Mee-Mee and Nana's back to back visit on the way too!!
