Boy have I missed updating our blog! Hugh, Laney and myself flew down to Jacksonville, FL (thanks to Marsha who gave us buddy passes) to see Hugh's 85 (almost 86) year old Grandpa Carson. We had such a blast and a lot of good laughs as we were flying by the seat of our pants or holding a squirmy 18 month-er in the airport. We learned a lot and had a great visit with Grandpa. We sure wish we lived closer so we could see him more often. He thoroughly enjoyed watching Laney sing, talk, swim, dance, climb, read her books, run around, etc.. He thought she looked mostly like Hugh, and I have to agree with him. Hugh always says, "I just don't see it. I don't see me, and I don't see you either." However, my mom just laughs and giggles when she sees Laney running around dancing, singing, climbing everything in sight, smiling at everybody because she said she acts EXACTLY like I did....one high-energy baby. :)
While we were down there we bought a camera so we could take pictures with Grandpa. And the best part is that it has VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm busting at the seams to get these pictures and videos loaded onto the computer. I'm a bit "video-happy," trying to make up for lost time. Hopefully I'll be able to get them up tonight sometime. Glad to be back home again! Thanks for stopping by.

Our computer won't recognize the new camera via USB. So, I tried to download the goods from the camera and our computer can't read it. I bet we need to upgrade our computer. Arrgggghh...I'm dying to share these pics!!
