Laney & her Daddy - 14.5 months

Here's Miss Smiley--She's like this every day, all day long. What a blessing she is to us. She especially like it when people come over. The past two days we've had friends come over, and she's quite the smiley flirt. It cracks everyone up b/c she'll just stand there looking at them with this HUGE grin, like the one below. Then, she'll get so happy that she has to prance around the house giggling. She loves hearing her feet hit the floor.

Hugh told me that he no longer wants to call Laney "Laney-bug." The past few months, we've been calling Laney "Doodle-Lanes", like the oldie song. (Everyone we know has a nickname. I just can't help it.) So, now Hugh calls Laney "Doodles," and he loves it. I'm getting used to her being called Doodles as well.

Here's Laney on Valentine's Day, wearing her sweet purple Gymboree overalls that we got as a gift when she was still in my belly. I've been waiting to wear this outfit for so long. Thanks Dr. Tommy & Kim!!!

Laney just said a TWO word phrase this morning!!! "Dank Q"!!!!!!!!1 This was her first attempt to saying these words, so obviously, it didn't sound exactly like "Thank you", but I had just said "thank you" to her because she had helped me put on her hoodie. Immediately she copied me "Dank Q!" Where's my running list of new words???? I gotta get on the ball here!
