Please pray that I would start to gain weight quickly. Mommy and Daddy are concerned that I didn't reach my birth weight by my two week birthday. They are trying everything to get me to gain weight before having to go to formula. As of right now, they are reducing the supplement that I am on to every other feeding, so that I will nurse better. If I nurse better, then Mommy will have more milk to feed me. As of my doctor's appointment on Friday, I weighed 7 lbs 1 oz, gaining only an half an ounce since last Wednesday. My birth weight was 7 lbs 8 ounces. So, Mommy and Daddy changed my feeding cycle from every 3 hours to every 2 hours and only giving me my one ounce supplement every other feeding. Mommy is SOO nervous about this for it's very risky and she's praying that she has enough milk to make me gain weight. My next appointment is next Wednesday, December 27th.

p.s. By the way, I folded my hands in prayer ALL BY MYSELF!

Father, You are so faithful! Please help Laney to stay awake for feedings, and also help Hollie to produce an abundance of nutritious milk for Laney. Thankyou for this healthy, happy baby - please help Laney continue to grow and thrive - Lord, we pray for roly-poly thighs! ;) You love us so much, thankyou for taking care of Laney. Also, Father would you give Hugh and Hollie wisdom, and help Hollie to have peace and plenty of rest so her body can work properly. Thankyou, Father - Amen!
