Happy Birthday to Laney! She's 2 weeks old today! Praise the Lord! And we received great news at her 2 week appointment. This past Monday, Laney had lost weight since that previous Friday. Last Friday she weighed 6 lbs 13.5 oz. Monday she weighed 6 lbs. 12.5 oz. She lost weight over the weekend. So, we increased our supplement from .5 oz to 1 oz and in two days, Laney gained 4 oz!!! She now weighs 7 lbs .5 oz!!!! PRAISE THE LORD WHO HEARS OUR CRIES AND PRAYERS!!! Thank you for praying! The coast is not clear yet. We have another weight appointment on Friday and then if that's good, we won't have another one for several weeks, which is a bit alarming to me, for I like monitoring her progress or lack thereof. And I don't know how we are to get off of the supplement 100% without a decrease in weight, so I don't want to go off of them. We're happy to continue for we know that Laney's needs are being met. But we can't thank you enough for praying. We wanted to let you know how your prayers were answered. Keep praying. We have to get her back to her birth weight, which is 7 lbs. 8 oz and continue to thrive past that.

Great news!! I'm so glad ya'll got a good weight report for Laney. She's so cute you guys!! I love that picture with her all stretched out in her crib. Isn't it crazy how fast they can change in just 2 weeks??!!
Great to hear things are going well. Sam lost weight too, at the beginning, and was even have urate crystals in his diaper. It was very scary, but we made it and I'm sure you will too.

Ya'll are just too cute! I love the one where you two are touching noses :) Way adorable! I'm glad the prayers are being answered in the way in which we desire for them to be answered. I'll also pray for peace for you as you take on such a special role as a mom. I imagine that it can bring lots of worry.
