Finally we are home. (Sunday) Oh, home sweet home. I can't tell you how much of a sweet release it was to step through our front door and see life as we left it. Everything familiar. Everything I longed for while living in the hospital for eight days: Seeing Laney's toys. Breathing in the smell of "home." Petting Daisy who was uber excited to see us. Sitting on the couch, throwing my head back and closing my eyes. Home. I can't wait to sleep in our bed tonight. The ballons, streamers, flowers, and a beautiful pink "Welcome Home Mattie" sign greeted us in our living room. My mom had bought some flowers for our front porch as well. Such a sweet welcoming.

I have been trying to upload some pics of the girls first meeting each other. Somehow I never can get it done, but it's coming. Don't worry.
