I think that's what this place is called. It's a common birthday party place here in Wake Forest and I'm sure in other cities as well. I had never been to it, so I didn't know what to expect. We had the MOST fun!! I've never had so much fun at a child's birthday party! I didn't know that we were able to get in these things and jump alongside the children. In one clip, you can hear Laney crying as she watched me jump around in there. And those slides...they don't look very tall, but they were and got my stomach BIG TIME every single time we went down them. Laney absolutely loved it! Climbing up a few of them with Laney in one arm was difficult. There were handles and blown up steps with which to climb this STEEP incline. A few times I wondered if I was going to make it with my 24 lb baby in one arm, using only one arm to climb the swaying blow up slide. I felt like I should have been awarded a metal by the time I got up to the top! Again, on the video, they don't look threatening, but in person it was pretty hard. Every day I have a sweet reminder of our time at Pump It Up: an awful plastic burn on my elbow. Auh! People, this burn in the thorn in my flesh. I hurts so badly to this day, as it just can't heal due to the placement of it (on the elbow where there's so much bending and movement.) I'll hit it on something, turn over in bed using my elbow, or Hugh will accidentally brush by it or grab it. And that's where I wrench in pain. Then it starts bleeding all over again. I'm ready for this to heal up!! Vitamin E to the rescue!
