Today Laney is one year old!!! Yeaaaahhhh!!!!!!
What a blessed year this has been! Thank you Lord!Laney and I were in Georgia visiting Mimi for a few days, so that's why there have not been any posts. She has had some congestion, so I've been busy tending to her as well as getting her small birthday party planned for this Saturday. Every day she gets and feels better.
Laney is talking like CRAZY! It REALLY cracks me up, because she's non-stop talking her little make-up words. Hilarious. She's 20 lbs now, but she weighed more a few weeks ago. She's lost a little bit of weight due to a lack of appetite the past few weeks. She's walked eight steps so far, but opts to crawl more often because it's so much faster. She still laughs out loud every time she tries to walk. It's precious!
When we were in Georgia, we visited a old friend of mine Audrea Medina(previously known as Audrea Vann). How awesome it was to see a friend after 7 or 8 years, one that you were in the youth group with, and to see her little family, hear about where God has taken them and how He has blessed them was so neat. Her son's name is Gideon and is just a few months older than Laney. She's a fellow blogger as well, and although I had never met Gideon, I felt like I had known him ever since he was born, since I faithfully follow their blog. When Laney was around Gideon, she tried to walk more. She wanted to be like Gideon. We're just not around any babies that walk. I am not really rushing her to walk, because she builds coordination skills the longer she crawls. I'm happy either way! It's so sweet to see her stumbling around the house trying to walk.

Audrea's baby girl is due in 2 weeks! She looked GREAT! Yippie!
As you can see here, Laney's little eyes were watery and red. Poor baby! But aren't these two just precious?!

Happy Birthday to Laney! Hollie, isn't it amazing how fast this year has flown, and how much God has blessed you in the past year? I pray that Laney's party this weekend will be tons of fun. If you ever want Laney to be around a 'walker', let me know-Georgia is walking everywhere and loving every moment of it!

Happy Birthday Laney!! Glad it was great. That's awesome you got to see Audrea. I bet it was crazy going to back to your hometown and she's living in the house she grew up in. That's so cool. I would love to see people from the youth group now. Did you know Kaycee Plott is married?? Crazy! She should be 12! She married Kellen Owens. I hate getting old! Oh well...good time ahead though! Give Laney a birthday kiss from me!
