I have a few pictures from my camera, but soon, I'll be able to post the REALLY GOOD pictures from Nana's camera, when she sends me the cd of her pics. I CAN'T wait. And there are a lot, so when that cd comes in,...GET READY! (I'm uploading my pictures now...)

See that really cool wagon? Nana and Papa brought that with them to tote Laney in on the beach. Early in the morning the sand was so smooth and compacted that we could easily pull Laney on the beach in her wagon. I could run on it and it would feel as smooth as concrete(yet softer on the joints.) See that really cool clamp umbrella? Yeah...well...we only used that umbrella the first day because I broke it. Yep. I broke the cool umbrella that was SUPPOSED to shade Laney from the scorching sun. There we were talking up this super cool wagon and how awesome it is to have a wonderful umbrella for Laney to sit under so she doesn't overheat. There's only one little section where adjustments can be made to angle the umbrella this way or that. I just reached down and started to adjust it,..but more towards the top instead of where the coil is(or whatever that thing is called). All of a sudden...SNAP!! You should have seen my face. I was STUNNED. I couldn't believe I broke the umbrella in half. Ha! Everyone thought it was kinda funny...everyone but me. I felt TERRIBLE!!

Here we are at the pool while Nana and Papa babysit Laney. It felt so weird not having Laney in our arms. The pool was so nice!

Our friends Joelsiah and Lady Gwenavere (Joel and Gwen) were vacationing at the SAME beach 3 houses down from us the SAME week! Here they are! We always have a great time with them.

Look closely at this pic. That's right people...that's a SHARK FIN! Ahhhh!! I couldn't get my camera activated fast enough to REALLY see the fin, but TRUST ME, that's a shark. I took this from the shore. It was VERY VERY close to us. Needless to say, I didn't step knee deep on these shores. No way Jose. Those of you who know me well know that my mind gets ahead of me when thinking about what's in that mysterious ocean of ours. Eeehhh!!!

I love this picture of Laney and I! I love the palm tree behind us too. Gotta love the beach!! If you look closely at my face, you'll see that I still have the "pregnancy mask." Some women get it and some don't. It's just like stretch marks,..some get them, and some don't. It all depends on the skin type. I didn't get stretch marks at all, but I did get the splotchy pregnancy mask on my face that darkens with the sun. Supposedly, the splotches go away in time, but since I'm still feeding Laney Mommie's milk, I bet I still have an increase of some of the pregnancy hormones. I freckle anyways, so it's really not a big deal. I just have to get used to seeing A BUNCH of freckles on my face! :)

Here's our little Hawaiian beauty sporting her Hula skirt!!! :) Daddy was carrying her to the pool.

Looks like ya'll DID have a fun relaxing week. I remember those first few nights of "all night" sleep and yes girl, it was GOLD!!! What a blessing for Nana and Papa to do that for ya'll! I love the pictures, Laney looks like a doll in the wagon. Such a great wagon, we got Ethan one for his first b'day and we still get lots of use out of it. Miss ya'll, hope to talk and catch up soon! Hollie: Look at you and your flat belly already. Good for you. All that running is paying off big dividends! Glad you got some much needed rest. Now, back to the grind won't be so hard.
In the first picture of Laney and Nana, on the far right in the upper corner, there is a man who appears to be walking on the water in the ocean. Am I seeing a miracle here? How did he do that? :)
