Happy Easter

The past year has been altogether different for us concerning holidays. Since we live so far away from our loved ones, we weren't able to travel when I was VERY pregnant (Hollie's birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas...etc..) Hugh now works a different schedule than 8-5 M-F since he's in school. Thus, traveling as a family is difficult. This Easter we spent it here in Youngsville, NC. We had a honey-baked ham, some side-dishes from Hugh's grandpa's garden, homemade sweet-tea, and we topped it off with homemade chocolate chip cookies! Mmm! I cooked/made it all the night before, so we just had to heat it up after church, which was great! Although everything was delicious and felt blessed to have the food that we did, we miss having fellowship with family and close-friends. Laney and I will probably travel home beginning of May to see my brother Richie before he leaves to live in Alaska (military) and to celebrate my mom's birthday. It'll be a very fast and quick visit, but it'll be great to see my mom, brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law.

Here's us on Easter Day! Laney is 4 months 1.5 weeks (17.5 weeks).
