Two Down, Two to go!

Moving update: We have not moved yet. Bum-digaby. We are 1/2 moved and really won't be moved in fully until Hugh's final exams are overwith. He has had two finals thus far and has two more to go, all the while going to class, studying, as well as working 25-30 hours a week. I work full time and pack and cook when I can. Packing, moving, painting and putting up a fence just doesn't seem to fit into our schedule right now. I know this move is taking longer than it should, but it could not have come at worse time. I haven't even stepped foot in a mall or store yet to buy Christmas presents. All of our plates, cups, and silverware are at the house, so we're eating/drinking with paper products, which is good b/c it cuts down the work of washing these things. I desperately want to put up a tree, decorate the house with wreaths and bows, putting beautiful lights all around our new house, but I'm afraid that such festivities might not happen this year. I've already accepted the possibility and will be happy to just spend one night in our house--now, that'll be fun! We will be heading to Georgia once the move is complete. I'm veerrrrry excited about that trip! Yes, this Christmas will be different for the little Carson family, but there are good things that will come out of Christmas 2005: less shopping stress since we're not buying big gifts for each other this year, less financial stress, we get a HOUSE of our very own, and more focus on Christ!!! Jesus deserves all the attention in this season, and it's been easier for my mind to focus on Him this year with less stress in other areas. So, you give a little "here" and take a little "there." It all works out in the end. I hope you're holidays and your Christmas Day will be memories that will last a lifetime and ones that bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ! I looooove this season!
