Carpet

Our carpet is getting installed today!!! Yippppppiiiieeee!!!! I will never look at carpet the same way again. I looooove carpet and appreciate it so much more now that we don't have any in our bedrooms. We are having a visitor spend the night with us starting Wednesday night, and we just had a bed set up on the subfloor(no carpet). I told her to bring her house shoes. haha! But to my surprise, the carpet will be installed today, and we'll have carpet for her by Wednesday! We've hooked up our washer/dryer, got our fridge/ice maker hooked up (our very first ice maker since being married!!), 75% of the house painted, food in the pantry, and the couch and armoire in the living room. We only have the computer desk, computer and misc stuff to bring over from the apartment. We'll clean that apartment from top to bottom, get our deposit back and hopefully spend our first night at our house on Wednesday night! Shew! So much to do in such little time. I've been thinking about taking off a day of work, but my students are making pinatas and they need my assistance. We're also watching "A Christmas Story" in Spanish(I'm soooo looking forward to this. Hilarious!) So, having a fun last week of school has been nice--hardly any grading.

Right now, Hugh is in the middle of his second and last final for this semester!! Way to goo Hugh!! He went to bed late and got up early this morning(5:00 am) I know he's exhausted.
