Egg Sandwich Marathon
Can I just say that I'm thankful that our Egg Sandwich Marathon has come to an end, and we are now feasting at tables full of flavor and delight! What is an Egg Sandwich Marathon, you ask? Since we have been moving, painting, and basically working our fingers to the bone, we have only had time to eat the classic Egg Sandwich Cuisine,...for many nights in a row. We ate these a lot the last week of school when I was closing out my teaching semester, and Hugh was closing out his seminary semester. We started cracking up as we began to make fun of our perf little "sah-meen-jers"(sandwich in chinese). Now, we're pretty much turning into rolly-pollies, enjoying the holiday meals that our families have prepared for us. A few days ago I told Hugh that I was so happy to take a break from being the "cook" or the "preparer" so as to sit back and relax, yet still have homecooked food. Then I said, "Oh, when I become the mom, then I'll be the one cooking non-stop....who will then allow us to take a break?" That is the question. So, I nominated Hugh to step up and cook in those moments. LOL. Who knows if my dream will ever come to fruition, but I can certainly hope that it will. We are chilling out in Gainesville, Ga until the 26th, and then we'll head down to the good o'l town of Tyrone to see my folks. Being so close to my family and having to restrain from driving down there has been a strange feeling. I am really looking forward to spending some time with the fam. Hope you're all enjoying your Christmas Eve.

Well, I have taken anywhere from 12-15 hours in a semester during the past 2 1/2 years of full-time classes. I took 5 & 6 during my extension center year. I have been in school now 3 1/2 years (a 98-hr. degree). I'm ready to be done, although it has been enjoyable.
I am glad that you get to relax. You guys really deserve it! I understand what you mean about having someone else to cook. But what I really enjoy is someone else to clean.
