Mattie-isms - 27 months

Mattie came running up to me and said with big eyes,

     M:  Mommy! I need my "toe-hm." (pronounce it outloud like it's spelled)
H: You need your what?
     M:  My "toe-hm."
H: Oh, you're comb.
    M: Yea-ahh. (really calmly)

Laney chimed in...

L:  Mattie, why you like your comb so much?
     M: 'Tuhz, it makes me happy.

I just love how Mattie pronounces her c and k sounds like a t-sound.

tash (cash)

I'm tuming, Mommy. (coming)

'Tum here. (Come here)

There's a black tar, Mommy. (car)
Be-tuhz (Because)
Toe-hm (comb)
Tay (okay)

Oh Mattie, how ever did you get so big?


I will melt over every little
"I'm tuming Mommy"
as long as I can.

p.s. But PLEASE don't ever stop saying "Tay"
