Blast Back to April and May

The end of April and all of May was a terrible time for me, due to having caught every stink'n bug/sickness known to mankind. The bronchitis was what made the whole month of May a drab; therefore, I had no motivation whatsoever to blog.

Here are a few highlights of that month (that I was able to capture on cam)

My cousin Melissa and I at the park. Her boyfriend Emerson and Hugh were playing disc golf while we went to the park with the girls. I love that she lives just five minutes away! I still can't believe it.

We are one year apart in age almost to the day and have wanted to live near each other for what seems like forever. here recently we've gone to work out together and they've watched the girls for us a few times as well. What a blessing to have family close by.

We also had some new friends over for dinner, Brandon and Karla Simpson. We've enjoyed getting to know them! I actually was very sick when this picture was taken. My fever spiked during dinner, and by later that night, it went up to over 103 degrees. Talk about being on fire.

Laney had and Mattie had a good time getting to know Brandon and Karla, as well, Laney in particular.

Brandon didn't mind it much that he had a little monkey climbing all over him. They were so good with the girls, no wonder the girls loved them.

Here we are out back talking with our neighbor Jimmy.

And Jimmy and Julie's girls came over as well to swing while the adults talked. These five girls get along so well! They just LOVE each other.
