Fair

While in town, we passed a small fair and knew we just had to take the girls there. Laquita was in town for Hugh's birthday as well, and we knew she'd enjoy going with the girls to this little fair.

What is wrong with this picture?

Please tell me you are laughing as hard as Laquita and I were laughing. OHHH, I cannot even TELL you how funny this was. We were ROLLING. After taking the picture above, I pulled it up on my camera, leaned over to Laquita and tried to get out "What's wrong with this picture?" out of my mouth, but I could only get "What's wr....." and then I'd lose it. We were laughing so hard at Hugh, and that made Hugh start laughing.

I mean seriously, isn't this hilarious?

Mattie pointing to Hugh and Laney as they are swining in the air, around and around. I felt so badly that Mattie couldn't ride hardly anything.

 

Now this is precious, Hugh and Laney holding hands. He doesn't look so out of place here.

Oh, how I needed that good laugh!

Hugh was able to take Mattie on the carousel! I was so happy she was able to ride something.

She wouldn't let him put her on the horse though, so they had to sit on the bench.

Heading to the....ferris wheel! Laney has asked to ride the ferris wheel for YEARS.

 

Look at Hugh and Laney way up there! My mother's heart cringed when she leaned over. There were no seatbelts and those little doors don't look a bit sturdy. Hugh told me afterward he had a grip on her like you wouldn't believe when she leaned over to look down at us.  So thankful for that.

 

Look at how happy she was when Nana asked her about her ferris wheel ride! Was she excited or what? :)

My little Laney is a thrill seeker and who better to ride these rides with than her Daddy. She gets it honest.
