Unique Christmas Present

Since we moved our headboard into the guest room, we don't have a bed. Our bed is presently laying directly on the carpet in our bedroom.

I showed Hugh some plans for a Farmhouse bed, just like the one from Pottery Barn, and he got so excited to build it! We then decided this would be our Christmas to each other.

If you haven't run across the website Knock Off Wood by Ana White, you are in for a treat! I could literally spend hours on that website. Be sure to check it out. She has free plans for all types of furniture on there, from kids outdoor playhouses, to dressers, to organizational pieces to loft playhouse beds.  She takes many Pottery Barn pieces and rebuilds them so she can share the dimensions.
