Belle and the Beast

Here'a a dialogue between Laney and Hugh while sitting at the kitchen table right after lunch.  Laney was "Belle" and Hugh was "The Beast."

Hugh:          Hi Belle. How are you doing today? You want to come to the castle?
Laney:        Yes.
Hugh:          Or we could go to the library and read some books together? Or we could go walking out in the snow?
Laney:        Or we could go to Jumping Beans.
Hugh:         Where is Jumping Beans?
Laney:        It's in far, far away in Neverland.
Hugh:         Oh, it is?
Laney:        Yes. It's very far away. It'll take FIVE minutes to get there. I got four minutes to pack my bags to go to Jumping Beans. I GOTTA pack my phone! Are you going to take your phone, Beast?
Hugh:         Yes, I am.
Laney:        I will get your mirror so the wolves won't get your mirror, Beast.
Hugh:         Okay. (we are really laughing at this point!).
Laney:        Okay Beast, we ready to go. I got your Beast Phone.
Hugh:          Okay. (By this point, we were cleaning up after lunch, thinking the conversation was overwith)

Laney thought otherwise...

Laney:        Okay, Beast, it's time to go! (in a very loud voice)
Hugh:          I'm not ready to go yet (in his best beast voice)
Laney:        Are you ready to go Beast?
Hugh:         Yes, I'm ready.
Laney:        Okay, get your magic wand.


OH the imagination of Laney at this age! I absolutely LOVE it! She has quite the imagination.
