Winter Snow 2010

My goodness, I feel like it's been ages since I've blogged. In fact, it has. We traveled in December and in January. Then, our computer crashed, and I feared that all of our pictures were lost. Thankfully, all data is safe and sound. I am going to try my best to update you on what has happened this past little bit. I'll start with

Winter Snow 2010

A BIG thank you to Papa Dooley for buying these snow suits for the girls.

Since we had been cooped up for days inside, all we did was run, run, run outside. I'd say, "Hey Laney, let's run to the fence! Ready? GO!!!" Chasing the ball was a lot of fun too.

Laney's favorite thing to do in the snow was to go down the slide. All the snow was gone on the slide, but she still found it to be quite entertaining. Below are my snow boots that I bought at an REI garage sale when we first moved here in 2005. Wait...I was half way through my pregnancy with Laney when I bought these, so summer of 2006. And I must say, they were worth every penny I paid for them.

When there's nobody to take pictures of you and your daughter in the snow, you try to take a picture yourself. I didn't realize that my lens was zoomed all the way in when I took this picture. I think it's super cool.

Precious.

Daisy gets so so hyper in the snow. She was jazzed up for a whole hour without rest, running with us, playing fetch, etc ..

Malibu Laney-- Nothing like TRYING to get a little vitamin D in the winter, even if you are practically covered from head to toe.

I love these pictures of Laney drawing in the snow. I had to lay down with my face almost touching the snow to capture this angle. It seems that all good pics come from really awkward positions from the person taking the pictures. Below Laney looks agitated, but from what I remember, she didn't seem agitated at all. Hmm...maybe she was for a moment if Daisy stepped on her creation in the snow. I love that the back of our house and our fence is in the picture.

Proof that I am not a timely nail clipper (or should I say clippist?). I am Daisy's nail clipper and as you can see, I'm not doing my job so well. BUT this picture IS pretty cool.

And the whole time we were outside, little Mattie was inside snoozing. Soon Mattie, you will be able to run and play in the snow with us too. I'm in no rush for you to grow up though.

Hollie, amazing pictures! What camera are you using?

That looks like so much fun. I've never played in that kind of snow before. Ours has always been sparse and slushi. What a great day you girls had.

love it! One of my favorite pictures of me and andrew is super zoomed on our eyes. What nice accidents. Laney is still as cute as ever.
