Spider Bite??

Hugh called from work Monday night about how he thought that a spider had bitten him, his leg was incredibly sore, red, and swollen and how he was heading to the seminary doctor today. This is his leg after a lot of the swelling had gone down, which is a good sign that the swelling has gone down, but as you can see, it's still swollen.

The Doc told him he that he needed to go on an antibiotic, keep it elevated, and come back on Thursday for him to look at it. Hugh's been keeping said leg elevated, but when he gets up after it has been elevated, he experiences the most pain when walking. He said the most pain he's ever experienced. We're assuming it's the rush of blood to the area that is so painful.

We called a friend who is very knowledgable in homeopathy, and she told us to do a few things to pull the infection out. I thought I'd share the knowledge.
Make a paste out of baking soda and distilled vinegar.

Apply to wound. Let it dry. Reapply paste.

Soak leg in hot water with 1 cup epsom salt and 1/4 cup baking soda. The hot water also draws out the infection.

Let's hope his antibiotic and these treatments make for a quick recovery for Hugh.

Hi. Ben was bitten by a brown recluse (right on his abdomen) when we lived in NC. He used hot compresses (as hot as I could make them - I'd pour boiling water on a washcloth) and that gave him the most relief. I sure hope Hugh feels better soon!

Hugh, since being bitten, have you experienced better eyesight, faster reflexes and ripped muscles throughout your body? I know this guy named Peter Parker and that's what happened to him when he got a spider bite...kind of changed his life!

Hollie, also make sure he's talking a good probiotic with that antibiotic... you can also apply colloidal silver topically, and take it orally as well. Has the infection gone down any since you've been administering all forms of treatment?
