2.5 weeks old

I feel like Mattie should be so much older than 2.5 weeks, but alas, that's all she is. We're adjusting well to being a family of four, and I know that ease of adjustment has been all of the help from family and friends thus far (dropping off delicious meals, taking Laney to the park, etc..) Here are some pics of us around the house the past few days.

Papa and Mimi just rolled into town yesterday and will stay for a few days. I'm SO THANKFUL for their help. Here's Mimi giving Laney some icecream on the back deck.

Headed to CFA on Labor Day in her UGA dress that Grandpa and Dee-Dee Carson gave to Laney! Isn't that the most precious dress!

Laney buckling her golden sandals, by far my favorite sandals she owns.

Darling Mattie

Beautiful Laney

Look at my two girls!

Our friend Wendy Pauly came over to drop off some yum-yum good enchiladas that she made for us after church on Sunday. Thank you Wendy for that delicious meal and all the hard work you put forth into making it. I really miss seeing my friends, so it was refreshing to see her, even for a few minutes.

Laney is a master at buckling anything pretty much. She loves it and will tinker with any buckle until she's figured it out. Here she is buckling Mattie in the bouncer. Most of the time, I turn around and see Laney playing with the buckles on her infant carseat. She's a great big sister!

Joey Craft's Mom hand-knit these for Mattie! Look at the quality of these little booties. She's an amazing knitter. Thank you so much Mrs. Craft!!!!

Yay - Mattie with her eyes open. She's a doll. Love that UGA dress on Laney - too cute.

What a happy family! She's beautiful. Sam's a big buckler too - he helped me buckle the back of the Ergo Baby yesterday when I was carrying Carolina. Amazing how big they are!
