Our sweet friend Brandi invited Laney and I over to swim and have dinner/dessert on Saturday evening. We had such a blast!!! And to top it all, Brandi took pictures of Laney and I, for which I am so thankful. I am rarely in any pictures since I take most of them and have hardly had any pictures of my baby belly this pregnancy.
Laney had on a swimsuit with floaties sewn into her suit. The floaty vest snapped into the bathing suit bottom. It was a pretty clever design and it just happened to be in a lot of used toddler clothes I bought from someone else. I believe One Step Ahead (one of the most fabulous kids websites) sells them, if you're interested. I still had to watch her very closely and wouldn't even think about taking my hands off of her, because she would still go under if she jumped in the water. In fact, at first, she wanted me to hold onto her...then she got confident. She was loving EVERY minute of swimming.
