Spring Break

We just returned from our Spring Break trip to GA and to the Mtn House in Western N.C. We had such a great time with family and friends, but after a week away from home, being sick every day and having potty training set-backs, we are happy to be home!

My brother Clayton and Ashley got married last Saturday, and it was such a blessing to be a part of their big day! Laney was the flower girl too. Hugh snapped some shots of Laney and I as we walked down the aisle together.

I was also able to see Richie, my younger brother who was back from Iraq for his two week R & R. I really wished I was able to spend more time with him. But I'm just glad we were able to hang out a little bit.

After the wedding weekend, we headed to Little Switzerland, NC to the Carson mountain house, meeting up with the Lyons (Larry, Stephanie, Anna Kate and Abby) as well as my cousin Melissa later on that week. When we arrived, I was wearing a sleeveless shirt. The next day it was snowing! The last day we were there, it was BEAUTIFUL again, so we went hiking to see a few waterfalls and had a picnic outside. Since I have a few pictures of each visit, I'll post each day this week of all of the places to which we journeyd last week.

Lastly, while up in Little Switzerland, on Wednesday, I "turned" 20 weeks pregnant! That sounded so awkward, but really I didn't know how else to word that. I am so incredibly thankful to the Lord for allowing me to carry our second child. I feel so blessed!
