Markers!!! No, we don't encourage this type of "coloring" or "marking."When she's coloring at the table, strapped into her booster seat (so she doesn't mark on any furniture), and I turn around to finish cooking, answer the phone or get a load of laundry out of the dryer, she will quickly find a way to "polish" her nails or "put on lipstick" or "blush." Ha! I was on the phone with Laquita this morning, turned around after getting off the phone and this is what I saw. Mercy! I had to laugh (on the inside), remind her that we ALWAYS and ONLY color in her coloring book, and snap a few pictures of this little smurf face!
Laney is also sporting her new headband that I made her. Oh, she looks so cute in it!!
