Forgive me ....

...for dragging my feet a little with updating the blog. I feel like I have sooo many fun things to share, but just can't get my ducks in a row these days. I've been hit with the pregnancy tranquilizer that knocks me slap out all day long.

I still have things to share with you from BEFORE Thanksgiving. Yeesh! So, don't be surprised if I take a blast from the past in the coming weeks.

I LOVE this picture of Laney. I love how the lights are all fuzzy in the background and how her little mouth was saying "ooooo!" as she held a colorful bulb in her hand. My Mom and Dad put these up on the back porch just for Laney.

Laney adores my parents three little dogs, Ginger, Minnie and Gabby. Here's Dad playing with Laney and all the pups.
Whenever we all come home for a holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving, everyone always brings their dog and there are dogs EVERYWHERE!! Clayton and Richie both have big dogs and Clayton just got another dog, so next year ought to be fun with seven dogs, a three year old, and a four month old, along with everyone and their spouses. Family, what a blessing from the Lord!

So, Laney loves her vacuum cleaner. However, she still gets "ansy" when I bring mine out. Hopefully, all of this will change as she learns to vacuum alongside me.

My mom gave Laney some dress up clothes. Here is she trying everything on after opening it up.

I might have already posted on the coasters I made for my friend Kristi Dobbs. If I did, this is a good opportunity to laugh at the fact that this pregnancy has caused me to forget any and everything. (Ask Hugh. I'm SO forgetful these days.)

Kristi asked me to make her six coaster sets with these fabulous Amy Butler fabrics to give as Christmas gifts. She chose these specific fabrics and did a great job. I loved them and wanted to keep a set for myself. I LOOOOVE Amy Butler fabrics! Laquita gave me several yards of Amy Butler fabrics for Christmas, along with some patterns, and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on them!

Here are both the patterns and the back fabric.
Here's Clayton and his fiance Ashley. I just love Ashley and am excited that she will be in our family soon come April!

Over Christmas, I was SOOO excited to be able to meet up with my two best friends ever, Liz and Kimberly!!!! It was soo much fun! We were all college roomies and our friendship is for life. I love and miss these girls like crazy! (Leesa, these pictures are for you!)

And here's a pic with the two kiddos! Laney loved Ethan. He was sooo cute playing with his train set!

Have a great day watching football tomorrow!

I love Laney's b&w outfit in the first few pics... I tried to get the same one for my girls, but they were out of our sizes. :(

Your coasters look great, and inspire me to make some more...

And Liz hasn't changed a bit, has she? She looks like she hasn't aged at all in the 7+ years since I've seen her!!
