Saved the Best for Last

We've had a lot of company these last two weeks(so fun!), so that's why I haven't been able to update our blog, much less even surf other friends' blogs. I'll get caught up here shortly. We'll get another round of company next week, so stay tuned for more fun pics with Matt & Lauren Papa!

Here are the last of the beach pics, and these were the ones that Lauren Papa snapped with her camera. She's such a great photographer. She edited these on iphoto and some of them are lifetime treasures.

Nice pics! Where did you find all those cute toddler bathing suits?

The one piece bathing suit was given to us by Hugh's Dad and Diane, and I think she got it at Target, but maybe last year. She'd had a stash to give us for a while now, so I'm guessing Target from last summer. I absolutely love that bathing suit. It was a little big, so I just tied knots on the shoulder straps.

Those pictures are so, SO good. I love that chair Laney fell asleep in too!

Krista,
Well, it LOOKED like she was asleep, but she wasn't. Perfect timing with taking that pic. I think I snapped that one and I remember thinking that it looked like she was asleep. Not my baby girl. She's as active as they come and her falling asleep at the beach would have been a miracle. Ha!

Okay, I have two questions.

1. Did you all take those pictures? They are just amazing.... ofcourse little Laney is just a cutie...

2. What camera do you have? We are in need of a new camera.... :)

Yes, they were taken by the family. I think I snapped two of them, but Lauren, Matt's wife, snapped almost all of them. Matt is Hugh's brother. It's a Cannon Rebel 10 megapixels. It's an amazing camera. But the part that makes them soo cool is the photo editing. If you get a camera that nice, then get DEFINITELY use an editing program so you can make them look professional. If you have a mac, then it should have iphoto on there. If you don't, save your money and buy photoshop. Study the book and you'll have amazing pics. I don't have photoshop, but one day I hope to.
It's pricey.

Mariah,
The princess reclining beach chair came from Kroger, of all places. They were 40% off before we went to the beach. Laney loved having a little chair to call her own and of course, the fact that it was pink with princesses all over it didn't hurt either. :)

Those are great pics! I can't pick a favorite. Every time I thought that one was the best the next one was the best too. They look so professional. I do love the one on the boardwalk. Very inspiring!
