End of Week

I just woke up from a Friday-two-hour nap. Praise the Lord for naps, because after a week of being the "one man band" for my Kindergarten-First-and-Third graders, I needed a good nap. Whew! Those little stinkas will wear you out. Of course, this week was especially challenging because the students are testing their boundaries, some more than others. After two days of teaching, I realized I need to establish a positive behavior plan. I can't say enough about how glad I am that I incorporated this plan. These students really do want to please you if you notice the "good things" they are doing. This week has been great! Hugh has also done an excellent job at "Daddy Daycare" taking care of Laney while I've been at work (8:00-12:00).

Here are a few shots I got of Laney yesterday. It was a gorgeous day!

One of Laney's favorite things to do is bolt out the front door, head down the front porch stairs and truck it down the driveway. Don't you just love those little rolly legs?

What a HAM! That grin is to die for. We should take advantage of this beautiful weather and go for a walk with the girls.
