Hugh: What's up with good o'l Dad? Well, he's finishing up his last two finals today. Boy is he happy that he's closing out this semester. He needs a break. He's excited about using his free time to work on some of our house projects, as well as take a break. He's doing so well in school and is making such wonderful grades. Most of all, he's learning a ton, and really, that's what's important.
The latest with Laney: Laney is doing so many new things every day! I can't tell you how fun she is! Nowadays, she's reaching for things with TWO hands and then immediately putting it in her mouth. She chews on EVERYTHING. If she's sitting in my lap at the table, she now reaches for my plate and the food on my plate.
Feet: She's been playing with her feet for about a week and a half now. She's sooo cute when she grabs those feet and rolls around still holding her feet.
Reflux: Her reflux is getting so much better. We still have to keep a bib on her, so that we don't have to change her 20x a day, but it's not as projectile as it was before. I'm happy to say that she hasn't been on medication for this for quite some time. Yippie!
Playtime: When I bend down to put her in her exersaucer, she's hitting the toys before I can even get those chubby legs through the seat holes. Ha! She loves that thing. She hasn't yet figured out that it bounces, but we were able to take the towels out from under her feet now that she can stand up.
Sitting up: She's doing better and better with sitting up. We are two weeks away from six months, so I think she'll be sitting up by her sixth month, because she's so close. I'm fine if she doesn't reach that milestone by six months, but I'm sure she will.

Hollie...TOTALLY your daughter. I mean check out those laughs and smiles and that mouth :) Hee Hee! She's going to be all grown before we get to play with her again.
Hey, she is sooooooo cute...holy moly, they grow so fast!! Anyway, I use bummis covers during the day, they are great. And I use the old fashoned cotton prefolds with them. Covers you can use over and over in between washings. I use my Happy Heineys for night, nap time and when we are out an about for long periods. I'd say about 5 covers (or more) in each size and plenty of cloth diapers. It works great for us.
