23 Weeks

The day before Laney turned 23 weeks, she rolled over from her back to her stomach!!!!! Yippie!! She has been getting pretty close to rolling over for a while now, but wasn't quite able to turn all the way over. Ever since she rolled over, she's doing it all the time now. I'll lay her on her back on a blanket and go check something on the computer (right beside her). When I turn around, she's on her tummy trying her best to go somewhere. I makes me laugh so hard, because she's grunting like crazy and is SO ambitious. She gets frustrated, because she just can't lift that belly off of the ground yet. Her legs are just-a going though. It's so funny!

This morning I went for my second jogging experience in over a year. Wow...it felt good to give those leg muscles a good workout..., but boy does my body hurt now. I feel like I'm 90 years old when I have Laney in my arms and am getting up off the couch or off the ground. I'm not kidding....I'm moving SLOWLY these days. When Hugh came home for lunch today, he blessed me by finishing cooking lunch while I took a naparooskee on the couch. I was cross-eyed, after having gotten up at 5:15 and then went jogging for 45 minutes, while pushing a stroller carrying my 15 lb baby. I wouldn't advise that you run that much after not having run in over a year AND pushing a stroller. (By the way...that jogging stroller is AWESOME! Every mom should have one, even if you're not a runner.) Boy am I ever excited to lose these last 10 lbs from the pregnancy that just seem to be hanging onto me for dear life. LOL! I can't wait to fit back into some of my clothes and to feel in shape again. I always get too excited about getting back into shape and always over-do it the first few days.

Since I always like to keep my blogger-readers on the tips of their toes as to what will I post next, below is an "off-the-beaten-path" video. It's not just the same, old routine in our day....oh no...it's a play-by-play of our jog around the Seminary this morning. Ha! I wanted you to see how we work it on our jogging mornings, how much I was DYING, and I also wanted you to see the Seminary. Now, I was narrating, but I couldn't understand what I was saying(Hahaha!), so I put most of it to music. I like it better that way anyways! Enjoy!

That was AWESOME... I'm ALMOST inspired to go jogging myself... maybe we'll give it another 6 months, after Lilly's born and I make it through recovery! I can tell Laney really enjoyed it too! Miss you guys.
