Today is Hugh's 29th Birthday!!! I woke up around 6:30 this morning trying to get everything ready for him before he woke up. I baked his favorite orange rolls in the oven, put on some coffee, wrapped his gifts, put out the "Happy Birthday" banner, blew up some balloons, and threw out some streamers over the table, chairs and light fixture in the kitchen. He's all the time talking about wanting an edger for the yard, so I got him one that will attach to our trimmer that we have. I put a candle in his orange sweet roll and sang Happy Birthday to him while holding Laney. It'll be fun one day when it's not just me singing Happy Birthday, but instead a few little voices singing along with me. :)
Tonight we are going out to eat, and today I'm making him cheesecake from scratch. I'm recovering from a VIOLENT stomach bug that I caught in Virginia this weekend, so I'm moving a bit slower than normal. Talk about terrible. My back and neck are still sore. I'm actually about to go take a nap while the cream cheese is softening. Pics to come!

Happy late birthday, Hugh! Sorry we don't check the blog daily. Hope it was a great one. Dustin likes those orange sweet rolls too. I personally prefer the cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing.
