I am sooo happy that Laney's 10th week has arrived, for so many great things have come with her 10th week: on most nights she sleeps to 4:30 a.m., she is nursing so much better, and last Saturday Laney rolled over for the first time!!! Yes at 2 1/2 months, Laney is rolling over! To us that seems a bit early, but we're not 100% sure. We need to get that "What to expect the first year" book, so that we can know these kinds of things.
Nana and Papa came to visit this month. She was soo happy to see them that she rolled over while they were here.
Here are some pictures that Nana took with her camera:
hollie, i love love love the new pics. that IS early to roll over!!! would you like me to send you our copy of what to expect the 1st year??? jordan's almost at the "year" mark (sniff, sniff)... i love you!
Yeah, I think that IS early for rolling over too. I think Ethan was pretty much on track with "what to expect the first year" and he first rolled over tummy to back at 4 months and then back to tummy around 6 months. Go Laney Go!!! Ya'll, she is so cute!! I can't believe it's already 10 weeks and I still haven't seen her. (Whaaaa) Hope to see ya'll soon. Love you!!
CUTE PICS Hollie! I love them! We definitely need to get together soon - just let me know. Way to go with the rolling over - our hog of a child is 6 months and doesn't roll either way - he rolled over like 4 times and then has never done it again! He is sitting up now, though, so I guess that's one milestone to check off the list!

It's definitely early. Gideon's 4.5 months, and can roll from back to side, but place him on his tummy and he'll try for a few minutes before collapsing in a fit of frustration and screaming...ah well. He can't be first in everything :)
Wow, I bet Laney could give Maggie a run for her money! At 8 1/2 months, Maggie has no interest in crawling - because her quick rolling can get her everywhere she wants to go! I'd love to see the two of them together. Love you guys.
Love all the pictures--we always post lots of pics at once, so I appreciate another blogger who's not afraid to show us lots of fun moments! It seems like when I see her on most Sunday mornings she's naturally sleepeing, so I LOVE being able to see her all awake, and alert! She seems to have great head control, and I love that you can even start to see her personality in her facial expressions! She is ADORABLE! Steph Lyon
Oh my gosh...Laney is adorable. Those big eyes are so cute. Hollie...she looks just like you. Hugh...I'm afraid you're going to have lots of boys in the future! I can't wait to see her in person.
