Here's a picture of my Mom and I almost a week ago (July 22nd). My mom and I always have fun going out shopping and decorating the house, while the boys work on the yard together. Please don't look to closely. We had just rolled out of bed and were headed to go garage sale hopping. When I had returned home from work on Friday, my mom had cleaned my whole house top to bottom. Can you believe that? What a super-loving Mom I have!
Here's a picture of my dad and I in the front yard. Every time my dad visits us, he's such a great helper with the big projects that we need to get done around the house and yard. And now that I'm pregnant, I can't help Hugh lift a thing. So, having a great helper-dad is such a blessing!
In our backyard, we had a huge percentage of overgrown brush that was getting out of hand because of the rain we were having. So, Hugh and my dad went to town burning it and using a machete to cut tall weeds to the ground. Along the way, my dad came upon a yellow jacket's nesk under the ground and was stung about six times. In revenge, he decided to get them back by pour kerosene down the hole and lighting them up! You can see the net he has around his face just in case they came after him again.
Here's Hugh climbing a tree and cutting down limbs. I can't seem to get the other picture posted of my dad spotting Hugh and helping him down w/o a ladder. He was pretty high to not have a ladder. Go Hugh go!
