One More Day...

Tomorrow, November 23rd, we close on our house!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippie!!! We will then be able to provide a picture of our humble abode, once it is ours. We don't want to count our chickens before they hatch. You never know how closings go. There could always be a "hiccup" in the system if the lendors and agents didn't do their job. We hope all goes well.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I'm afraid that this year is going to be a bit different for us. Being in a different state just makes birthdays and holidays a bit different. Hugh and I are not going to venture south to Georgia this year for Thanksgiving. It'll be the very first Thanksgiving I've never been with my parents and brother. How sad. But we might meet my parents up in Virginia(2.5 hours away) sometime this weekend for a day or so. We just need to find a place for Daisy or find someone to watch her. We would board her, but they are all full.

As an update from the last post, Hugh is feeling up to par today! He's got it made....there's no school this week, and it's been raining since yesterday, so he doesn't have to work landscaping today! And tomorrow...well, you know what tomorrow is. I'm glad he has this time to rest and recoop.

What are ya'll doing for Thanksgiving??? I look forward to reading some posts!!! :)

i remember my first T-day away from the fam. One of my profs gave us his house to use to cook our Thanksgiving meal and watch football...10 of us got together and cooked our 1st T-day meal on our own...it was quite entertaining, and one of my fav seminary memories. Do you have friends that you will eat with on Thurs? Tell us about them.
I'll head to Grr's for lunch on Thurs. Probably decorate mom and dad's on Fri. and then head to the Varsity and the GT/UGAg game on Sat. Wish you guys were gonna be there.
LOVE YOU!

I guess that with older siblings who have a quiver full, and I mean full, of children, the two of us always have to go where they are. But, we're here for now anyway. I was hoping that it would mean less driving, but evidently not. Good luck on your closing. How fun to get random modeling jobs. I'm gonna blame my dry season on my height, yeah that's it.
